The Children and Family Service of the Mogán City Council organizes the course 'The paradigm of good treatment and the evaluation of parental skills', which will be held online through a new municipal web platform. The training action is aimed at professionals and students in the social, educational and health fields and will take place on November 2, 9, 16 and 23. The registration period is now open.
The objective of these training sessions “is to increase knowledge and skills for the correct development of professional work,” says the Councilor for Social Services, Tania Alonso. Participants will work on the concepts 'parental competence' and 'resilience' from the model of good treatment of childhood and adolescence for the prevention and treatment of the consequences derived from incompetence in the care and attention of minors. In addition, they will obtain a guide of indicators to help them carry out an evaluation of parenting skills.
All of this from the hand of Jorge Barudy, neuropsychiatrist, child psychiatrist, psychotherapist and family therapist, and Verónica Reyes, psychologist and psychotherapist, who in addition to the exhibition activities will seek the active participation of attendees in order to promote debate and reflection. .
This course, which has the collaboration of the Institute for Training and Research-Action on the consequences of Violence and the promotion of resilience (IFIV), will be taught from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. online and requires prior registration. To facilitate access, the Mogán City Council launches a website where interested people can consult the available information about the training, the registration period and fill out the form to formalize it. Those who register will receive an email with an access code to the course that they will have to enter in the section of the website called 'Virtual Classroom'.
