This award will be presented annually to individuals or groups who have promoted the historical, cultural, agricultural, and traditional values of the Canary Islands. The award is a distinctive emblem specially designed by Manuel Encinoso and crafted by the artisan goldsmith Juan Lillo. The recipient of this distinction must display it on their cart during the festival, marking the beginning of the procession. This year, the award went to Epi, a resident of El Tablero, renowned for her long-standing participation and involvement in the patron saint festivities. The Los Campesinos de Lanzarote Folk Group and the Los Labrantes de Arucas Folk Group also participated in the celebration, getting everyone dancing to the rhythm of Canarian music.
After the tour through the different streets, the traditional Eucharist took place in the Church of the Holy Trinity, where the participating pilgrims delivered their offerings to the rhythm of different folk groups. Once the deliveries to the Virgin were finished, the exterior of the Sports Pavilion was flooded with Canarian tradition with the Merita la Pena party and the El Puntal party. Performances were also held in the Plaza del Tablero, in a festival that included the participation of Armonía Show and Star Music.
