Marco Aurelio already manages the first project of 50 public housing

 

The PP-AV candidate for mayor of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Marco Aurelio Pérez Sánchez, already has the technical execution project to build the first promotion of fifty protected public housing that is planned to be undertaken in the municipality since the start of the new legislature. 

 

The construction of these social homes will be carried out in the Partial Plan of Lomo de Maspalomas, on a municipally owned land of 7.688 square meters that was already delivered free of charge and free of charge in 2018 to the Government of the Canary Islands, specifically plot R2, adjacent to the other public buildings already built in the area.

 

The material execution cost of this residential park was around 4.184.340 euros five years ago, according to the project agreed by the City Council and the Canary Islands Housing Institute. Their objective, by plenary agreement, is to relocate the families from the modular homes of El Matorral.

 

The project managed by Marco Aurelio Pérez integrates in harmony with the urban landscape of Lomo de Maspalomas, as it is a building with three floors above ground, with very similar characteristics to the existing buildings. It will have five entrance portals and a community garage with individual storage rooms of almost 10 square meters throughout the basement. 

 

The homes, all equipped with a hall, kitchen and utility room, a bathroom (38 of them also with a toilet), and a living-dining room, are of four types according to their interior layout. There are 5 with one bedroom, 4 with two bedrooms, 27 with three bedrooms and 12 with four bedrooms. In addition, the residential complex houses an adapted two-bedroom home and another with five double bedrooms and two bathrooms that will be converted into a sheltered apartment. 

 

All rooms in these homes will have ventilation and natural lighting. The building complies with universal accessibility and noise tightness regulations. The four orientations of the property and the façade enclosures also allow for its thermal adaptation and the reduction of the risk of surface humidity.

 

The plot that the City Council handed over for the construction of these homes had a value of 542.039,79 euros, according to the calculation of municipal technicians. The commitment that Marco Aurelio Pérez extracted from the Department of Housing at the time was that the Autonomous Community would make an investment in it of close to five million euros. 

 

 

 

 

 

To expedite them, the PP-AV government even expedited with Canaragua and Endesa the processing of the respective reports necessary to undertake the connection of the plot to the general sanitation and supply network, and to the general electricity supply network. He was also forced to process a request for judicial release before the Court of First Instance No. 5 of San Bartolomé de Tirajana against the refusal to vacate that a person was carrying out on the land of the plot.

 

In addition to this project, PP-AV also manages the execution of another large public housing park for the residents of the municipality on a 26.000 square meter plot of land that the City Council has in Juan Grande. “The objective is to provide a social response to the petitioners and families in need, whether in a rental regime or in any other type of protected regime," says Marco Aurelio Pérez.
