The Bohemia Suites & Spa hotel hosts the exhibition “Alchemy” by the renowned artist Juan Cabrera

 

“Alquimia” is a fascinating collection of works by the renowned artist Juan Cabrera, which will be on display to the public in the lobby of the Bohemia Suites & Spa hotel until July 31. 

 

 

—“This collection of works is a casting of ideas, of our own lives, environments and desires. It represents my/our journey through existence, basically I talk about life, as always. Alchemy is simply that: research, curiosity, desire to live, in short, the foreign to the superfluous, immersing ourselves in the human soul.”

 

 

 

 

Juan Cabrera —born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts with a specialty in Advertising Drawing in 1987. He later entered the Luján Pérez School and since 1991 has participated in exhibitions and artistic events such as the participation with the Art Cuestion Gallery of Ourense in the Premier Art Fair of Hong Kong, the individual exhibition at the Centro Insular de Turismo del Cabildo de Playa del Inglés, the group exhibition at the Red Gate Gallery, “Inner Voices” in London, the group exhibition at the Iff Gallery, “Human Landscapes” in New York or his participation with “Cabezas Gallery” in the International Art Fair of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, to name just a few.

 

 

 

 

In addition to this wonderful art exhibition, we can enjoy some works created exclusively for the Bohemia Suites & Spa hotel, such as the murals on columns in the lobby and spa, where mermaids and marine animals are represented, as well as a high relief with the representation of a dinosaur fossil made with resins and polyester that we will find in the LaBoh multidisciplinary space, next to the hotel lobby.
