This Thursday, June 15, the installation of two officers from the Mogán Local Police as sub-inspectors took place. They have done it by competitive examination. The acting mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, presided over the event in which the acting first deputy mayor and councilor for Citizen Security, Mencey Navarro, the head of the Mogán Local Police, Jorge Alemán, the secretary of the Administration and other councilors of the acting local government group
The two agents, José Luis Segura and Marcos Domínguez, have taken up their positions as trainee officials in the employment of sub-inspectors in the Session Hall of the Town Hall. There they have promised to faithfully fulfill the obligations inherent therein with loyalty to the King and the Constitution. Now they will have to do basic training of 200 hours, a research project and 1.200 hours of internship.
“We continue to form the corresponding command scale within the Mogán Local Police,” said Navarro, who congratulated the new trainee sub-inspectors and pointed out that “now it is time to continue working on the incorporation of new colleagues.”
In this sense, he has reported that on July 1, eleven of the thirteen agents who joined the Moganero Corps last March after passing the public call will begin to carry out their internships in the municipality, since it is expected that they will have completed the mandatory period of basic training at the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands in Añaza, Tenerife. The two remaining agents are already doing their internships in the Mogán Local Police, since they previously served in Gáldar and, therefore, had already gone through the aforementioned academy.
