The Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council has promoted the eco-sustainable digital card that will facilitate the promotion of businesses and establishments, increase positive reviews on the internet, in addition to reaching users and potential customers with an innovative image of businesses and establishments.
The Department of Commerce has promoted this tool with the support of the Commonwealth of the Southeast. With a budget of 17.000 euros, the project wants to reach 125 local SMEs. This Wednesday the first cards were delivered to merchants in the municipality with the presence of the acting mayor, Francisco García, and the acting Councilor for Commerce, Sergio Vega.
The objectives of the eco-sustainable card are to reach users and clients with a well-kept and personalized brand image, facilitate communication by transferring all means of contact (phones, WhatsApp, email, etc.) in a single shipment, facilitate users directly access social networks, increase positive reviews on the Google My Business listing or make it easier for the user to locate the physical business.
This technological tool has been designed especially for mobile phones, because it is the device where more than 90% of users browse. The digital card has been developed by the Canarian company, Acaao Soluciones Online, located in the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana. The card allows customers to share it with their friends and family, turning them into brand ambassadors.
The acting mayor, Francisco García, congratulated “both the merchants and the Department of Commerce for carrying out this initiative, and I encourage them to continue on this path of modernization and adapting to new times.”
The acting Councilor for Commerce, Sergio Vega, showed his gratitude to those responsible for the different businesses and establishments that attended the card delivery ceremony. The mayor highlighted that "this is one more way to continue with the objective that we have set for ourselves these years, to modernize and energize our commercial sector and improve the economy of our municipality."
