This morning an extraordinary and urgent session of the Plenary Session of Mogán was held where the compatibilities of the councilors of the local Government with the exercise of their private activity were declared, the economic remuneration that the Municipal Corporation will receive was approved and the system of sessions was established. corporate bodies. The members of the polling stations for next July 23 have also been designated by lottery.
The first plenary session of the new legislature has begun with the approval of the periodicity of the collegiate bodies. Thus, with the vote in favor of the Government group (Together for Mogán) and against the opposition (PSOE and NC), it has been agreed that the plenary sessions will be held in ordinary session on the last Friday of each month at 10:00 hours, being able, if circumstances advise it, to call it on a different day in an interval of ten calendar days before or after the indicated one. Local Government Meetings will take place weekly on Tuesdays at 12:00 p.m.
Likewise, the number, name, functions and composition of the Information Commissions have been determined, which are study and advisory bodies for the political groups of the Corporation. The Contracting Board has also been established, a technical assistance body specialized in administrative contracting whose main functions are to guarantee compliance with the requirements that companies must meet when participating in open, simplified open, restricted, and competitive dialogue award procedures. , bidding with negotiation and partnership for innovation.
Compatibility and remuneration statements
The councilors Mencey Navarro, Luis Becerra and Minerva Oliva have declared before the Plenary Session the compatibility of their position in the local Administration with the exercise of their private activity. These and the councilors Emily Quintana, Rayco Guerra, Grimanesa Artiles and Neftalí Sabina, will be councilors with a partial dedication of 75%.
Regarding financial remuneration for the execution of her functions, the mayor will receive an annual salary of 63.888,61 euros gross per year; councilors with full dedication to the Corporation 48.159,62 gross euros per year; and councilors with part-time dedication 47.916,46 euros gross per year.
On the other hand, each member of the opposition will receive 40 euros for attendance at the plenary sessions and 30 euros for their participation in the Information Commissions. The monthly compensation for expenses incurred in the exercise of the functions of these political formations –PSOE, NC– will be 100 euros and 30 for each councilor.
In the plenary session, it was also initially approved, with the vote in favor of the local government and the abstention of the opposition, the creation of four jobs for temporary staff of trust and special advice, replacing those existing in the previous legislature. .
Finally, the Presidency's proposal for determining the areas of Government and the administrative units that comprise it for the next four years of the legislature has been approved.
Appointment of members of the electoral tables
On the agenda, the appointment of the members of the polling stations has been approved, by draw, for the Elections to the Cortes Generales on July 23, 2023.
The draw has been carried out with the legally established system. In the next few days the Mogán Local Police will notify the residents who have been elected.
