The first curves on the route that AV-PP and CC have started together in the south of Gran Canaria have to do with the coastline. NC and PSOE have left 5,1 million euros in the city council's drawers to privatize the hammock service.
The Department of Urban Planning at the time of NC launched a competition worth 5,1 million euros in January for the management of beach hammocks. It was not because of the supply but because of the management. This, which was revealed by Maspalomas24H, caused the PSOE to go up in arms against NC since it implied privatizing the service.
After this NC measure, the PSOE paralyzed the process to avoid labor problems in the pre-election campaign. The contest is not canceled and the money is allocated to local budgets. NC and PSOE hoped to be able to develop this document after the local elections of May 28, believing that they would remain in government. But it has not been that way.
The contract is still in an open phase but AV-PP and CC must decide what to do.
