What is Nanofat?
It is a rejuvenation technique that uses the patient's own fat. Fat has always been unwanted, hated, demonized, but now scientific studies have shown that it is rich in stem cells; cells that have a strong tissue regenerative action, conquering the area of aesthetic medicine. It is currently defined as "the yellow gold" of beauty.
Fat is obtained from those areas of the body where it is in excess, it is purified with scientifically proven and optimized techniques, in order to transform it into a liquid substance ready to be injected into the subcutaneous layer in a few aesthetic treatment sessions.
In most cases, in a single session, the belly or hips that have a round shape are reduced using the fat in these areas to turn back the biological clock of the face, neck, décolleté, hands and the inner part of the arms.
What is the Nanofat procedure?
“It is an outpatient procedure that consists, in its first phase, of removing some areas where you want to eliminate fat, generally from the abdomen or hips. The fat is aspirated with a special microcannula of 2 millimeters in diameter, without causing trauma to the tissues, since it is done manually. Explains Dr. Antonio Distefano, reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeon.
In its second phase, it is necessary to carry out the "cleaning" of the fat, more precisely its purification of oily and blood residues (microfat transfer) and, in some cases, fibrotic residues (nanofat transfer) that would otherwise counteract the processes of fixation. This process is used to obtain a fluid compound with a significant concentration of stem cells, ready to be placed, in its third phase, in the different areas of the face and neck or body using microsyringes.
When we can see the resultes?
Once implanted, the stem cells in the face or neck are activated, generating a regenerative process that produces improvements every day, reaching its maximum result in approximately 120 days, while the volumizing action of the adipose tissue, placed in the body, is immediate.
For what type of skin is this treatment usually recommended?
It is known that, over the years, the first cause of facial aging is the loss of volume, due to the decrease in muscles and therefore the roughness of the skin.
Fat is used to regenerate dull, poorly toned skin that is no longer as luminous as before, to nourish and hydrate, soften wrinkles, furrows, overly enlarged pores and lighten sun spots. It is also applied to give volume to less pronounced features of the face and finally to harmonize areas of the body that are too voluminous or not very pronounced.
Who can undergo this treatment?
In practically everyone, the stem cells present in adipose tissue are always alive and therefore there is no age limit, nor is there a limit to feeling the pleasure of taking care of yourself and feeling better.
Only a few injections of this nanofat technique are necessary to obtain a general improvement of the skin, the restoration of the volumes that have been altered over time, reduce wrinkles and, at the same time, acquire a better silhouette.
A recommendation: Place your trust only in plastic surgeons with proven experience in performing this technique, who have an operating room for outpatient operations, to avoid complications that could compromise the result.
