After several days of intense heat and haze, temperatures will drop in the archipelago at the beginning of July
Against all odds, the month of July begins in the Canary Islands with a slight drop in temperatures. After days of intense heat where 40 degrees have been reached in several areas of the archipelago, the heat will give a slight respite to the Canaries during the first week of the new month. The haze is also expected to subside these days.

What will continue in the first days of July is the intense wind that has been noticeable in Gran Canaria in recent days and that has served to minimize the feeling of sultry. It is expected that, at least during the first week of July, gusts of intense wind will continue.
This Friday the yellow alert for high temperatures in Gran Canaria ended, recording temperatures above 30 degrees. The trend is expected to change next week, with the minimum temperatures at 22 degrees and the maximums around 25 degrees.
