The event occurred in the early hours of last Saturday and affected seven vehicles parked on the street and in a lot in Vecindario
Seven vehicles were affected by a serious fire on Saturday night on Brasil Street, in front of the Vecindario Municipal Stadium. The flames devoured the vehicles in a matter of minutes, with two being the most affected. One of them was an inhabited motorhome, but its owner was able to abandon it before it was reduced to ashes.
The event mobilized firefighters from the insular Emergency Consortium, using more than 10000 liters of water to put out the flames. The fire did not cause any personal injury, but two of the cars have been left unusable and the rest have been significantly affected by the flames.
After the fire, the Civil Guard carried out the corresponding procedures, but at the moment the causes of the fire are unknown.
