Marco Antonio Navarro Tacoronte was arrested this morning in Vecindario. At approximately five in the morning, members of the Civil Guard appeared at the Elba Vecindario Hotel to carry out the arrest. Navarro was in Gran Canaria with his wife to meet with his lawyer.
According to close sources, the arrest is not directly related to the alleged “Mediador” corruption plot, for which he is also being investigated; This time it is a complaint from an individual who accuses Navarro of having stolen his wallet during a dinner and carrying out twenty charges with it that would amount to up to 3375 euros.
After the arrest, Navarro was brought to justice in the Courts of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, where they decided to release him after notifying him of the corresponding communications. For this reason, Marco Antonio Navarro is requested to be fined three months and up to two years in prison.
