A united PSOE from San Bartolomé de Tirajana, with a multitude of members, carried out the traditional posting of posters in the different neighborhoods of the municipality last night when the hard-fought electoral campaign for the Cortes Generales began and which they hope "will allow Spain to continue advancing in social rights and in an economy for all*" in the words of the general secretary of the Tirajan socialists, Carlos Álamo.
The PSOE of San Bartolomé de Tirajana recalls that the main citizen issues at the beginning of the legislature have been managed effectively by the Government of Pedro Sánchez. In 2019, these issues were the economy, unemployment, Catalonia and corruption, to which the pandemic was immediately added.
The truth is that the vast majority of voters have something much more important at stake on July 23 than the political future of Pedro Sánchez.
Kevin Paz, Councilor of the socialist party in San. Bartolomé de Tirajana qualified the media present "*most of us are at risk for the model of society that will be imposed in Spain and that will determine the quality of jobs, the level of salaries, the dignity of pensions, the ease of accessing a decent housing, the quality of health services, equal opportunities in education, real equality for women, discrimination against homosexual people, the fight against climate change, digitalization for all or for a few. That is Just part of what's at stake.
