In its third edition, the initiative that highlights the best centers in health management and quality of care has achieved the participation of more than 120 public and private hospitals.
In this edition, the BSH Awards brought together a total of 122 hospitals, 65 of them public and the remaining 57 private. These centers were evaluated based on their efficiency and quality of care, using methodological parameters validated by the Spanish Society of Healthcare Managers (SEDISA) . Hospital performance is not only measured according to the sector in which they operate (public or private) but is also categorized into groups to identify patterns of best results in quality of care, operation, and clinical management. The groups are: Women's Health Processes, Kidney and Urinary Tract Processes, Musculoskeletal System Processes, Overall Outcomes, and Hospital Costs.
