Amazon arrives in the Canary Islands with Guanxe

The Canarian company expands its services and now allows orders to be placed with external businesses that do not ship to the archipelago.

No more “we don't ship to the Canary Islands”. Guanxe, the Canary Islands company that began as a competitor to Amazon in the archipelago, offering an extensive sales service, where it sold everything from electronics to clothing, has ended up expanding its services and offering itself as an “intermediary” between the North American giant and the inhabitants of the archipelago.

In this way, Guanxe, together with the logistics company Maresa, offers to bring products to the archipelago that are not sent directly from the supplier. The Canarian platform thus saves procedures such as the DUA for customers, setting the shipping price based on the weight of the merchandise. With this new service Guanxe is not limited to bringing Amazon products to the islands, but also offers options such as Zalando or Uniqlo; It also promises to include stores such as Adidas, Calzedonia or Casa in the future.

Guanxe also offers an option to request products from external websites by pasting the link in the app. In this way, Guanxe replicates the strategy of Canarias Prime (now Banango) but adding the functionality of combining it with the company's own stock in the archipelago.
