PSOE of Mogán considers that the use of hotel complexes to accommodate patients who have been discharged from hospital and who are awaiting redirection to social and healthcare complexes can be an alternative to diversify the tourist offer and thus improve the Mogán destination, always complying with the corresponding regulations.
In the Ordinary Plenary Session of July held at the Mogán City Council this Friday we reproached the mayor for her statements criticizing the referrals of patients with medical discharge made to a hotel complex on Amadores beach.
The mayor has literally said in the question and answer session that "the tourist use of the municipality cannot be prostituted." First it was the migrants and now it is the elderly awaiting accommodation in a residence who have the mayor's rejection of to be installed in our hotels.
Far from what, in our opinion, is an unfortunate opinion of the Moganera president, from the PSOE we wanted to show our support for an initiative that could be an attraction for our hotel offer. There are already many visitors who have settled and reside here for much of the year seeking the benefits of our climate, why not adapt the hotel offering to this segment of the market, says Artemi Artiles.
