Nueva Canarias denounces the lack of respect for the information commissions, by becoming an instrument without content, and without the councilors officially assigned to them
The Bueno government votes against allowing the presence of the Opposition Parties on the Public Radio Television of Mogán
Nueva Canarias Canarista Block of Mogán, regrets and publicly denounces the lack of respect for the administrative control tools of the Mogán administration, carried out by the government group.
It is a “joke that the information commissions have become, emptied of content, one more example of the neglect, passivity and lack of transparency that characterizes the management of this government group,” says spokesperson Javier Romero.
Today the ordinary plenary session corresponding to the month of July was held, and last Tuesday the informative commissions were held, in which information is given on the matters that are on the agenda of the plenary session, but which are an information tool and debate on such matters.
This is established by the Municipal Organic Regulation in its Article 175. “The municipal Commissions are complementary bodies, without decision-making powers, which have the following functions: a. "The study, report, or consultation of the matters that must be submitted to the decision of the Plenary."
In the Urban Planning Commission where the matter of the General Plan file was to be addressed in response to the more than 2.400 allegations received, not even the president of the commission, nor several of the councilors appointed there, appeared. He had a celebration with substitutes, who of course did not give any explanation to the doubts and requests of Nueva Canarias. Given the lack of explanation of the file in question and waiting for the meeting requested by this group with the drafting team, our vote was abstention.
Motion on the PRESENCE OF THE PARTIES THAT MAKE UP THE CORPORATION ON THE MOGÁN RADIO TELEVISION

Mogán radio television has established as a public objective since its creation in 2010 that the philosophy of this public media is “rigor, objectivity, and developing citizen participation, guaranteeing access for political and social groups.” significant.
These objectives are mandatory in a public media outlet that owes it to citizens to offer a neutral service with equality for all.
Since CIUCA came to power, the participation of the different political parties in the media has been censored, whether in the form of interviews, debates, or colloquiums.
Furthermore, at the end of the plenary sessions, Mogán Public Television interviews the spokesperson for the government group, but not the spokespersons for the opposition groups.
Therefore, from Nueva Canarias – Canarista Block we understand that we must have a space for diverse political opinions at the end of the plenary sessions, to inform the neighbors of our decisions in the votes and our way of understanding what happened.
Mogán deserves to have a public environment open to citizens, and to the plurality of opinions and political ideas. This motion had the government group voting against
