The government group of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council has chosen this Wednesday to reformulate the areas of power, after the departure of the CC nationalists

Party that has left power in less than two months in several Gran Canaria town councils. The new government group will have as its priority the execution of the 2021 budget and executing the tourism rescue plan with the funds that will come from the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and the Government of the Canary Islands. In fact, PSOE and NC practically keep the departments that move the money and licenses.

Mayor Conchi Narváez is in charge of hiring personnel, that is, Human Resources; Samuel Henríquez will unite Urbanism and Urban Planning Discipline under her command; Antonio Pérez stays in Housing and Irasema Hernández takes over Events and Celebrations. Inés Rodríguez: Tourism, although purchasing power remains in the orbit of the PSOE.

Narváez Vega explained this Wednesday that the substitutions in Mayoral positions mean that in the absence of signature power from Mayor Narváez, it is Samuel Henríquez who occupies the first position. They are followed in this order: Inés Rodríguez, Antonio Pérez, Elena Espino, Clara Inés Martel, Mercedes Díaz, Irasema Hernández and Tito Herrera.

The socialist mayor indicated that "we consider that we have a good government and this reorganization is the best example, our objective is to respond to the needs of citizens, which have changed drastically in these two years, and adapting to this new situation is an obligation for any administration. Stability is guaranteed, we have more than enough projects and management capacity to meet the needs of the citizens of San Bartolomé de Tirajana."
