Copenhagen Fashion Week concludes today. This year, Gran Canaria Swim Week has positioned itself at the heart of the most relevant current fashion scene. This partnership has allowed for the presentation of designs by several Gran Canaria designers and one international designer in a special showcase within Copenhagen Fashion Week. Elena Morales , Palmas , Aurelia Gil , Chela Clo , Carlos San Juan , and the Israeli brand Gottex were the designers and brands responsible for presenting their collections at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

“The participation of our swimwear fashion week (GCSW) in Copenhagen Fashion Week strengthens our alliance with the Danish catwalk, one of the leading events in Europe, and fulfills our objective of establishing ourselves as the benchmark swimwear fashion week on the continent. This firm commitment to the internationalization of Gran Canaria Swim Week also presents an opportunity to continue forging alliances with other European countries,” concludes Minerva Alonso, Councilor for Economic Development, Industry, Commerce, and Crafts of the Gran Canaria Island Council.

With this agreement between the Canarian and Danish catwalks, Gran Canaria Swim Week's commitment to the internationalization of this unique event in Europe in its category is consolidated. The work of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Gran Canaria has been key to carrying out this internationalization strategy.
