A man drowns on Tauro Beach

 

At around 17:52 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that a person who was in cardiorespiratory arrest had been pulled from the sea and They were practicing resuscitation maneuvers on Playa de Tauro, municipality of Mogán.

 

The SUC personnel confirmed that the affected person remained in cardiorespiratory arrest and continued practicing advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without obtaining results, confirming his death.

 

The Beach Rescue Service personnel collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources. The Local Police, Firefighters and Civil Protection secured the area and the landing and takeoff maneuvers of the SUC medical helicopter.

 

 

The Civil Guard guarded the body of the deceased until the arrival of the judicial authority and instructed the corresponding procedures.
