The fire forced Gran Canaria Firefighters from Parque de Arinaga to act and left several residents of the area where the fire occurred without power for a long time.
The residents of Adargoma Street, in Vecindario, had a good scare last night. Around 22:00 p.m. a fire started in the exterior electrical wiring located above a beauty center. Given the presence of the flames and the power outage caused by them, the neighbors notified the emergency services, which activated Gran Canaria Firefighters from the Arinaga Park.
After an hour working at the scene, the firefighters put out the flames, which fortunately did not enter the beauty center or affect the homes on the upper floor. The supply cut caused by the flames extended to several streets parallel to the scene of the event, so members of the Civil Guard and the Local Police went to the scene until the supply was restored.
