On August 25, at around 12:33 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting the overturning of a vehicle on the highway of El Carrizal, municipality of Ingenio.
A 50-year-old man who, at the initial moment of care, presented with moderate chest trauma, except for complications, was transferred by sanitized ambulance from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
The rescue is carried out by the Gran Canaria Firefighters from the Arinaga park. The Firefighters secured the accident vehicle, since upon arrival the occupant had been freed from inside the cabin by other people who were at the scene.
SUC personnel assessed and assisted the affected person to transfer him to the aforementioned hospital and the Police Officers made the corresponding report.
