A dozen municipal workers and specialists from Canaragua participate in the environmental cleanup work.
The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council is carrying out the landscaping of the green area inside the Annex II Parking and, also, of the entire wooded slope that descends towards it from the Paseo Costa Canaria.
These works, coordinated by councilor Eduardo Armas Herrera, are being carried out by a dozen workers from the departments of Parks and Gardens and Roads and Works, directed by the eighth deputy mayor, Araceli Armas Cruz, and specialists from the company Canaragua Medioambiente. The Waste Collection Department headed by Councilor Ruyman Cardoso López is also participating in this action.
The environmental repair in this tourist enclave near Playa del Inglés has basically consisted of pruning the entire grove, cleaning grass and weeds, and also removing all types of garbage and belongings that have accumulated for a long time.
Only the extractions of organic pruning remains and various garbage that have been carried out on the slope have so far required the use of three small trucks enabled for this type of transport.
The action to improve the landscape of the green environment of Annex II began last Monday and is scheduled to end this Friday, also including the painting and exterior cleaning of the public service buildings located both on the slope and inside the Parking.
