Radio Planeta's XNUMXth Anniversary gala promises to excite all its attendees and celebrate the station's twenty years in style.
Radio Planeta Gran Canaria celebrates its twentieth anniversary next Saturday, September 23, with a gala that will seek to take a tour through the history of the station and excite attendees. The event, which will take place at the Víctor Jara Theater in Vecindario, will feature performances by artists such as Maestro Florido, Dailos Santana or Pedro Manuel Afonso among others.
At the presentation press conference, the director of Radio Planeta, Ángel Santana, gave a brief overview of the work and the difficulties he has encountered along the way during the development of a station that has already become a reference in the south and the southeast of Gran Canaria.
A few words signed by the authorities present at the event. Óscar Hernández, Yaiza Pérez and Rayco Padilla represented the municipalities of Agüimes, Santa Lucía and Ingenio, respectively, and dedicated a few words to both Ángel and the station itself, calling the director a “helping hand” and highlighting the plurality of the medium.
Santana also highlighted the support for the Asdownsur Down Syndrome Association, with which Radio Planeta Gran Canaria has collaborated for years and which will present its traditional calendar at the gala, where it can be purchased for 5 euros.

When talking about the gala, not many details were shared beyond the invited artists since, as Santana himself indicated, “it will be a night full of surprises.” However, the director of the station did confirm that, although the spectacular nature of previous galas will be respected, this XNUMXth anniversary will have a great emotional charge, something that the artist Dailos Santana also stated.
On September 23, the theater doors will open at 20:00 p.m., where you can attend an exhibition prior to the gala where the station's most notable moments will be remembered. Admission will be free and can now be picked up at both the Radio Planeta headquarters in Cruce de Arinaga and the Ateneo Municipal de Vecindario.
