In the extraordinary session of the Plenary Session of Mogán held this Friday, September 22, the minor partial modification of the Subsidiary Standards (NNSS) of Polígono 18 of La Loma de Pino Seco, Arguineguín, and its Strategic Environmental Assessment have been definitively approved. . This procedure unlocks this land urban planning for the construction of 59 Officially Protected Housing (VPO).
The modification changes the classification of land suitable for urbanization as unconsolidated urban land and also adapts the NNSS to the current legal framework, since they were approved in 1988 and are, until the General Planning Plan is approved, the urban planning instrument. general by which the municipality should be governed.
Now, after the approval of the file with the votes in favor of the Government group (Together for Mogán) and PSOE and the abstention of NC, the work scenarios regarding the urban development of Polígono 18 of Loma de Pino Seco are adjusted taking as refers to the current context of the municipality, which states that it is necessary, among others, to increase the offer of VPO. In order to build these homes, the modification of the NNSS contemplates a slight increase in the urban parameters.
The plots are located in the so-called Loma de Pino Seco, where several developments of these homes are already located. The aforementioned land is privately owned, but the City Council has already agreed with the owner on the construction of VPO. The drafting of the project by the company is ready, so the works are expected to be put out to tender this year, with the Moganero City Council being in charge of managing these homes.
Precisely so that the developer can benefit from the line of subsidies from the regional Executive to build and the new VPOs in Arguineguín become a reality soon, the Mogán City Council has opted for a partial modification of the NNSS, since the total one is not possible until the City Council is notified of the favorable report of the Insular Water Council. However, the mayor of Mogán, Onalia Bueno, has reported that the latter is expected to arrive shortly.
The procedure unlocks a total of 72.806 buildable square meters of residential land. Thus, the 59 new VPOs planned will be added to the 200 already existing in Loma de Pino Seco. Likewise, this partial modification of the NNSS adjusts the current reality of the urban uses of the plots where the La Marea Shopping Center, the Health Center and the Social Services building are located.
With this step he continues to walk firmly. Municipal Housing Plan 2023-2027presented Bueno last March. This, the first to be carried out in the municipality, includes the execution of promotions in Arguineguín, Veneguera, El Horno and Motor Grande.
