resounding success at the XNUMXth Anniversary Radio Planeta Gran Canaria gala

Last Saturday, September 23, the Víctor Jara Theater in Vecindario dressed up with a full house in celebration of the XNUMXth Anniversary of Radio Planeta Gran Canaria.

 

 

With the motto of 20 Years “Essence Radio”, the Santa Lucía de Tirajana venue experienced a night full of emotions, where artists of the stature of Pedro Manuel Afonso, Dailos Santana, Maestro Florido, Manolo Matos, the Ballet from Paulina, Makana, Celia Jiménez and the Daysan Rhythmic Gymnastics club.

 

The members of Radio Planeta Gran Canaria converted the Víctor Jara Theater into a Radio studio for one night, where politicians, athletes, storytellers, announcers and collaborators of the medium passed by.

 

One of the most emotional moments was the presentation of the VII Sentir Canario Awards, which this year went to Mr. Antonio Morales Méndez – President of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Caladoras Association of Villa de Ingenio and the comedian Maestro Florido.

 

 

The track record of three clubs linked to sport and the environment itself on the island of Gran Canaria was also awarded. The CD Doramas, the CL Santa Rita and the Antonio Guedes Ramos Zanga and Ronda Canaria Association were awarded the special prize from Planeta Deportivo.

 

The big surprise of the night was the official presentation of “Planetin”, the heart of the station that went from being an animated mascot to a flesh and blood character.

 

 

The more than 1000 attendees had the opportunity upon entering the venue to learn about the history of the medium through an exhibition of photographs, posters of the different events, personalized calendars and trophies where memories raised passions.
