Playa del Inglés to the rhythm of batucada and flags of the world on World Tourism Day

 

To the rhythm of batucada and displaying the international flags that coexist in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, the Department of Tourism, together with the Celebrations and Events area of ​​the San Bartolomé de Tirajana town hall, celebrated World Tourism Day today at the Annex II Shopping Center in Playa del Inglés, where tourists and visitors came curious to know where the rhythm of the left-handers, drums and timpani came from that flooded the commercial area for an hour. The objective of this staging was, as pointed out by the Councilor for Tourism, Celebrations and Events, Yilenia Vega (CC), “to announce and promote the Maspalomas TouriFest event and the details of the festival that will take place among tourists and visitors. "September 29 and 30." 

 

 

The event that pays tribute to the tourists who have chosen Maspalomas Costa Canaria to enjoy their holidays will serve to promote coexistence between visitors and residents, "in an environment to enjoy with family and friends." The venue will be the “same sand of Playa del Inglés, choosing this beach because it is the tourist and economic heart of the municipality, and thus promote Maspalomas Costa Canaria also from the destination,” Vega highlighted. For this, live music, a chill out area, with world cuisine and a market, will fill and energize those days at the Annex II Shopping Center and the sand of Playa de Inglés. 

 

Maspalomas TouriFest

 

The celebration will begin on Friday the 29th, from 16:00 p.m. to 0:30 a.m., and on Saturday the 30th, from 12:00 p.m. to 0:30 a.m. In total there will be more than 15 hours of live music with the participation of soloists and groups, as well as resident DJs. On Friday the 29th, the festival will get underway at 16:00 p.m. with Dj Kike Abundancia, to continue with Tribute to Queen, Instrumental Show, Aseres and Dj Julián. Everyone will perform for an hour and a half, making the audience dance in the same arena until 00:30 a.m. 

 

On Saturday the 30th, the session will begin at 12:00, with DJ Kike Sundance who will set the mood for the morning to receive Kenneth. The day will feature performances by Supersonikka, La Última Llave, Dj Toni Bob, Bamboleo, Instrumental Show, Tutto Durán and Dj Ardy. All of this will be framed with a Chill Out area, tables where you can enjoy the drinks that will be offered in the authorized beach bars, a market area that will make various current brands available, and an area with 'World Gastronomy' where you can enjoy the flavors from the Canary Islands, Uruguay, Venezuela, Germany, Mexico and America.
