Agüimes will have a great time this weekend with the main events of the festivities in honor of the Virgen del Rosario. There will be activities for all tastes and for all audiences: folk music, dances, festivals, concerts, religious events, pilgrimage, livestock fair.
On Saturday the 30th, starting at 18:00 p.m., the offering pilgrimage will be held in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary, at the end of which there will be a taifa dance with parties in the Plaza de San Antón and a popular festival in the Plaza del Rosario. with performances by Armonía Show, Grupo Arena and Ladys del Swing.
The programming on Sunday, October 1, will begin very early, at 10:00, in the Plaza del Teatro Auditorio Agüimes, with the Livestock Fair and the Gran Canaria Cabildo Cup for club fighting. In the afternoon, starting at 17:00 p.m., there will be the Gathering in the Town, with a performance by the Municipal Music Band, a children's playground, dessert tasting, a pet catwalk, weighing of cheese in the eye (for the benefit of the Aldefa Association), the popular flower battle and the final concert of the Taburiente group.
