Fifty agri-food producers and twenty companies related to sustainable energies show their products in the Plaza de la Candelaria
The Commonwealth of the Southeast of Gran Canaria is once again betting on sustainability this weekend. The fairs of the Feria Km.0 Gran Canaria – Sureste and the Feria del Sol are held, simultaneously, in the Plaza de la Candelaria, where fifty agri-food producers and twenty companies related to renewable energy and mobility sustainable give visibility to their products and services.

New this year, guided tours have been organized to the historic center of Ingenio so that visitors can explore the streets that treasure the history of the municipality. In addition, several restaurants in the area will offer the traditional Ingenio bread soup, a dish little known in the rest of the island, but which is still cooked today by families in the municipality.
These fairs, which expect the attendance of about 10.000 people, are “the entrance to the next Southeast Fair,” which will be held shortly at the Arinaga Crossing, explained José López, mayor of the municipality hosting these meetings, who assured that These fairs improve “qualitatively and quantitatively” every year.
