A man recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest on Playa del Cura avenue

This morning, the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert informing them that a person was in cardiorespiratory arrest on the avenue near Playa del Cura. , municipality of Mogán.

A doctor who was in the area provided the first attention to the affected person, performing resuscitation maneuvers and applying a defibrillator until the arrival of health resources. Upon arrival at the scene of the incident, the SUC Personnel confirmed that the victim had been recovered from the stop. The man in his 50s, once stabilized, was transferred in serious condition by medical helicopter from the SUC to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria.

1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The displaced emergency resources collaborated in resolving the incident: Primary Care with a doctor and nurse from the Arguineguín health center, the Firefighters of the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, Civil Protection, Local Police and Civil Guard.
