The Los Espinales festivities are celebrated by its neighbors as an opportunity to remember the past of this unique enclave, one of the historic towns of the old Arinaga plains. With an eminently agricultural past and once known as Llanos Prietos, the neighborhood of Los Espinales has undergone a profound transformation in recent decades, in line with the economic and urban development experienced by the entire municipality of Agüimes.
