After several “extraordinary” episodes of heat in recent months, the islands are preparing to welcome the rains and drops in temperatures typical of autumn.

The islands woke up today under a blanket of clouds and a slight drop in temperatures. A drop that has been dissipating during the morning, with a gradual increase that has left the thermometer hovering around 25º on average, far from the more than 30 that have been experienced in recent days due to the extraordinary episode of heat.
Cloudy intervals will become the dominant trend on all the islands, at least. This trend will be accompanied by gusts of weak wind, which will slightly reduce the thermal sensation, especially early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
The presence of rain is not confirmed on the islands, although there may be some light showers on the westernmost islands. However, there is a forecast of rainfall on practically all the islands of the archipelago, although a priori it is ruled out that they are anything more than light rains and localized showers.

For the weekend, the downward trend will continue with temperatures that will hardly reach maximums above 25º and minimums that could be around 20º in some parts of the archipelago.
The cloudy skies. Probable weak rains that may be locally moderate on the islands of greater relief. Temperatures in slight decline. Light to moderate wind from the north.
