Mass schedules on November 1st in the four cemeteries
To enable greater flexibility in visits by neighbors on the occasion of the Festival of All Souls
At the request of the City Council, the four cemeteries in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana have extended their opening and closing hours on the occasion of the commemoration of All Souls' Day.
This extension has been punctual and extraordinary since last Saturday the 28th and until next Wednesday, November 1st, inclusive, so that the neighbors who comply with the tradition of cleaning and renewing the flowers in the niches and graves of their relatives and friends may have greater time flexibility to be able to do so, according to the Councilor for Services and Cemeteries, Eduardo Armas Herrera.
In that sense, the two municipal cemeteries, Lomo de Maspalomas and El Pedrazo, are opening their doors from eight in the morning until six in the afternoon, while the other two cemeteries, in the hands of the Church, Fataga and Tunte open at nine in the morning and also close at six in the afternoon.
In the Tunte Cemetery, declared a Site of Cultural Interest with the category of Monument since November 22, 1996, this extension of hours on the occasion of the Festival of the Faithful Dead will be extended until Thursday, the 2nd inclusive.
Regarding the schedules of the liturgical rites in these four cemeteries, the Department of Services has been able to determine that they will be celebrated:
November 1th
12.00:XNUMX p.m.: Lomo Cemetery in Maspalomas
17:00 p.m.: Fataga and El Pedrazo Cemetery
12:30 p.m.: Tunte Cemetery
