The Minister of Economic Development shares with the sector some of the new proposals in the institution's policy for 2024
The Minister of Economic Development, Minerva Alonso, today called on the designers who participated in the latest edition of the Gran Canaria Swim Week by Moda Cálida with the aim of analyzing the work done - evaluating successes and points of improvement - and collecting their proposals for for the next edition, as well as sharing with the creators details of the strategy designed by the island institution for the sector for 2024.
Regarding the Swimwear Fashion Week, the designers highly valued the best in the way the backstage works, or the inclusion of the terrace, to open the shows to the general public. There was also talk of continuing to make the casting of models more and more diverse - not just 'curvi' but opening it to other groups such as trans - while the possible dates were analyzed, seeking to ensure that it does not coincide with any other international event.
