11,8 million euros to exchange mirrors for gold. That is a fictitious investment for real economic purposes because what is going to be placed in the south of Gran Canaria are windmills that barely leave the municipal license for works and land occupation in the south. The official press of Las Palmas has not done any analysis, it does not want, about the real impact that this has in the south of the island by stating that this figure and nothing are the same although they are five storage projects, out of 21,6, XNUMX megawatt hours (MWh) that will be connected.

In July 2023, the CNMV considered that the company incurred in 2021 a violation of article 150.1 of the Capital Companies Law, which prohibits a company from advancing funds, granting loans, providing guarantees or providing any type of financial assistance “for the acquisition of its shares or of shares or shares of its parent company by a third party.”

These are the financial investments planned in the south of Gran Canaria, Ecoener with funds from IDAE and Brussels will relaunch operations in Arcos del Coronadero, El Rodeo, La Caleta, Las Casillas 1 and Lomo del Moral. Ecoener says it will develop 11,8 million euros. Of these, 6,9 million were financed by the IDAE with Next Generation Funds. The Galician company has its wind power in the south of Gran Canaria although it lives with remote control in the south. Since 2016, financial investments in REF territory in the Canary Islands and in origin in the purchase of technology in Germany, among others, Ecoener in the Canary Islands assures that they total 150 million euros, with an installed power of 112 MW. "These projects will contribute to the security of the islands' energy supply by improving a stable renewable supply and supporting the energy transition and decarbonization objectives," according to a statement. Ecoener manages 300 MW in operation, 258 MW in construction and 1.656 MW in development.
