During the meeting, the actions to be carried out by both administrations were defined and coordinated to promote the declaration of Guguy as a National Park. After taking stock, it was agreed as one of the priority actions to encourage the participation of the local population, since “there are many neighbors who demand to know the particularities of being a National Park in an environment like ours,” Navarro pointed out. .
And he advanced that initiatives will be carried out in the municipality that involve citizens.
During the meeting, the status of the National Park declaration procedure was also discussed, and in this sense, municipal officials reported that a meeting is planned at the end of the month with the Gran Canaria Council to resume coordination on this matter.
