The Maspalomas Lighthouse, in the south of Gran Canaria, the economic capital of the province of Las Palmas, paid a warm tribute this weekend to the parachutists who gave their lives in maneuvers held years ago in the dune landscape located in this area. These are 12 paratrooper legionary gentlemen who died in Gran Canaria in the act of service between January 19, 1965 and May 9, 1979, in the act of service. In an emotional event where relatives of the deceased, civil and military authorities and the general public gathered.
