The president of Lopesan, Eustasio López, has exceeded 1.200 million euros in fortune, all great news for the Canarian capital of the south of Gran Canaria, where he has the tourism business in addition to hotel management. In 2017, López made the transition of power in favor of his son, Francisco López, who in turn has José Alba in control of the company's management team.
The data on the wealth of the owner of Lopesan does not mean that he has that money in cash but rather it is the sum of the properties, the currency and the income derived from sectors in which he is present such as tourism or construction. Lopez's latest operation has been the entry into Anfi del Mar, the timeshare business that he disputes with Santiago Santana Cazorla.
From the south of Gran Canaria, there is hardly any known presence of other businessmen with high business figures. In the case of López, he is the only Canarian tourist businessman, although the official press of Las Palmas includes the owner of Loro Parque, Wolfgang Kiessling, who is actually German, as a Canary. Forbes ranks the founder of Zara, Amancio Ortega, as the richest businessman in Spain, with a capital of almost 82.000 million euros, followed by his daughter Sandra Ortega and the president of Ferrovial, Rafael del Pino. Following Eustasio López are Carmen and Luis Riu Güell, owners of the Riu Group, which, with a capital of 960 million euros. López surpasses the Escarrer family (Meliá), with 720 million euros.
