Everything is now ready for the celebration of the Gran Gala Pequeno Valiente 2023, one of the most anticipated charity events of the year in the Canary Islands that aims to raise funds for the Canarian Pequeno Valiente Foundation and its fight against childhood cancer. Today it was officially presented at the Casa Palacio of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria with the presence of the president of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Antonio Morales, the director of RTVE Canarias, José María García, the president of the Pequeno Valiente Foundation, José Juan Jerez, the director and presenter of the gala, the journalist Roberto Herrera and some of the numerous artists who will perform at the gala, Estudio Pasillo, Última Llave and Mario Falero.
The president of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Antonio Morales, applauded the work, commitment and effort of the Foundation, “which never ceases to surprise us every day”, with all the steps they have been taking in terms of services and infrastructure for families. . “The Cabildo has always supported them and will continue to be there, especially in this solidarity, participatory and committed gala. The president of the Pequeno Valiente Foundation, José Juan Jerez, thanked the Cabildo for their support, all the collaborating companies, “Roberto Herrera and the entire TVE team, artists, volunteers and all citizens, who make our new project possible, a leisure space not only for children with cancer but also those affected by rare diseases or disabilities, since many of our children end up becoming disabled children.” Jerez has assured that “we are one hundred percent committed to this new madness.”
For his part, the director of RTVE Canarias, José María García, highlighted the milestone of “broadcasting live for the first time in the history of the gala, with a team of 30 people working tirelessly and united for a cause that deserves it. children. “This gala is a reflection of our commitment and our goal is to inspire generosity and remind everyone that, together, we can make a difference.”
The presentations were concluded by the presenter and director of the gala, the journalist Roberto Herrera, who emphasized “how complicated it is to improve ourselves year after year, it is one of the most important charity galas in the Canary Islands and all the artists are dedicated to us.” Herrera promised a gala full of surprises, “like a call center to answer live calls. We have already exceeded three thousand entries and we hope to continue adding.”
Regarding the Valientes 2023 Awards, the recognition that the Foundation grants each year to entities, companies and personalities that actively collaborate throughout the year with the Foundation in its fight against childhood cancer, on this occasion they fall to Spar Gran Canaria , Fundación Nos Movemos Grupo 1844, Fundación Dinosol, the Social Action of the Banco Santander Foundation, the company Alternativa Digital, the journalist Dulce María Facundo and Sergeant Carles Aviño Beltrán.
This new edition, which will be held next Friday, November 24 at the Gran Canaria Arena starting at 21:00 p.m. and broadcast live for the first time in its history on TVE's La 2, will feature performances by José Vélez, Carlos Baute, Rosa López, Roko, Nía, Economía Pasillo, Jadel and Adrián Martín. Also confirming their attendance are Carlos Higes, Mario Falero, Última Llave, Raúl el Balilla, Yanely Hernández, Nathan, Javi Crespo, DJ Ulises Acosta and the Alexia Rodríguez School of Artistic Education.
Among this year's novelties and taking advantage of its live broadcast, the gala will have a set in which a dozen collaborators, including influencers, journalists and television presenters, will answer live phone calls from all those viewers who wish to make a financial contribution. . At the end of the gala, the money raised between tickets and calls will be known.
In addition, this year there will be the premiere of the Little Valiente Anthem, composed by Iván Troyano with the musical production of Lupion, which will be performed on the stage of the Gran Canaria Arena by Mario Falero and Roberto Herrera.

All the money raised through tickets and live calls during the gala will go towards the construction of the Andamana Pequeno Valiente Complex, a project aimed at offering comprehensive care to families of minors with cancer, rare diseases and disabilities so that in a only space can they receive a response to the needs and demands that arise throughout the disease process and its follow-up.
