The Gran Canarian won the Latin Grammy for his hit “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” with Bizarrap
The most international Canarian of the moment, Quevedo, was awarded yesterday in Seville with the Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Song for his song "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” (better known for its lyrics: Quédate…) together with the renowned producer Argentinian Bizarrap.
With this success, Quevedo did not stop playing for months and managed to be the first Spanish number 1 on Spotify, maintaining this mark for seven consecutive weeks and receiving praise and congratulations from established artists of the urban genre such as Bad Bunny.
However, Quevedo was not the only Canarian nominated at this year's Latin Grammy ceremony, since the palm tree Valeria Castro was nominated in the category of Best Singer-Songwriter Song for "La Root", although unfortunately she could not win the Grammy.
Quevedo received two nominations in the categories of Best Urban Fusion/Performance and Best Urban Song, although he only won the latter award.
