In the entrance section between Avenida de Colón and the Palacio de Congresos, parking is only prohibited in that direction, and vehicle exit is enabled. The prohibition that affects Calle Mar Egeo is limited to the section that goes from Calle Mar Cantábrico to Calle Mar Egeo. And with respect to the latter, the party advises that residents park their vehicles on the adjacent street (Baltic Sea) since the exit from the garages will be blocked by that street.

Free parking

 

To facilitate parking, the City Council will enable free parking between Mar de Siberia Street and Avenida de Colón, with entry and exit only through Mar de Siberia (coming from the Meloneras Hospital).

 

Starting at 7:30 a.m., traffic on Avenida de Colón will be diverted to Calle Mar de Siberia, and vehicles coming from the GC-500 (from the Mercadona intersection in the direction of the gas station) will only be able to get to the service station or the climb to Sonnenland.

 

It has also been established that the taxi rank on Calle Mar Mediterráneo will be located on Paseo Príncipe de Asturias, in an area adjacent to the Baobab Hotel, while the Faro bus station will be operational without its services being affected, which will have a special one.

The mayor reminds that throughout the entire marathon the safety of the runners will prevail and that their passage will have priority over vehicles. Therefore, when crossing or traveling parallel to the race circuit, they must significantly reduce their speed and adapt it to, which is why it is advisable not to exceed 20 kilometers per hour, and to use the lighting and turn signals when traveling in the opposite direction. .
