Success and fun in the celebration of the Warrior Race and the 12th Neighborhood Meeting in Maspalomas

More than 4.000 people enjoyed this weekend the celebration of two complementary events held in the Parque Urbano del Sur Maspalomas, the organization of the 'Warrior Race' by PlayLand coinciding with the 12th SBT Neighborhood Meeting, two days aimed at families, residents and visitors of the municipality. During these two days, visitors were able to enjoy the workshops, inflatable attractions, gaming area and concerts, among other activities, organized for these days. The objective was to promote coexistence between residents of the different neighborhoods of the municipality, as well as offer leisure activities that could be enjoyed as a family.  

 

 

 

 

The celebration of the Warrior Race took place on Saturday and Sunday, where families from all over the Island gathered to participate in the fun obstacle race designed for all audiences in which they could participate in groups and individually. In total, more than 2.500 people set foot on the circuit over the two days of the event. The success of participation consolidates the event as the most attractive outdoor event in the complementary and family offer of Gran Canaria by adding recreational, sports, cultural, gastronomic and adventure activities combined with a giant inflatable obstacle course and sports tests, with three levels of participation, intertwined with circus performances, magic, dance and live music that lasted into the night.

 

On Sunday the 26th, the second day of the Warrior Race coincided with the celebration of the 12th SBT Neighborhood Meeting, in which more than 1.500 people came to enjoy batucada, animations, DJs, bouncy castles available, human table football, mechanical bull, slides and even baby pools, among other elements and games. In addition, there was a Gaming zone and a Just Dance and FC 24 tournament, to which were added workshops, play libraries, a magic show with Abel Delgado, and a circus workshop run by the MSB School. For lunch, the residents were offered a paella made live and which they could enjoy as a picnic in the gardens of the Parque Urbano del Sur Maspalomas. The culmination of the day were the concerts offered by Leyvan and JuanFran.
