The representatives of 13 countries participating in the 61st edition of the Blume Gran Canaria International Festival were received today by the mayor of the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council; Marco Aurelio Pérez; the Councilor for Sports, Ramón Suárez and the Councilor for Social Services and the Elderly, Dimas Sarmiento.
The visit served to thank and recognize the work and prestige of this annual event that has been held for 61 years in different parts of the Island and has an important stop in the South of the Island, specifically at the Yumbo Shopping Center. The delegation thanked the “excellent collaboration they are receiving from the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council.” After the visit, the attending representatives received an institutional gift as a souvenir and gratitude for the work they have been doing "year after year", as highlighted by the mayor, Marco Aurelio Pérez.
