The Department of Culture offers families in the municipality an extensive program of more than 40 Christmas performing arts activities throughout the month of December.

The San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council will recover the traditional New Year's Concert by Olga Cerpa and Mestisay at the Mirador de Las Dunas de Maspalomas, on January 1 at 18:30 p.m.; and also the New Year's Eve bell ringing on the 29th in the Plaza de El Tablero. Both activities are part of the extensive and extensive program of Christmas-themed performing arts proposals that the Department of Culture will offer to the population of the municipality throughout the month of December and until next January 5.
This cultural program, with more than 40 proposals, is family-friendly and will reach all neighborhoods. Its presentation was given by the second deputy mayor and councilor responsible for the area of Culture and Education, Elena Álamo Vega, and the delegate councilor for said area, Esther Delgado.
Within the scenic circuit through the neighborhood centers, the animation show 'Animal Clown' stands out, which can be enjoyed in El Matorral, Lomo Galeón, Montaña Blanca, Las Salinas del Matorral, Cercados de Espino, Fataga and Tunte, and the storyteller 'Tributo a Coco', which will tour the cultural centers Tunte, El Pajar, Juan Grande, Aldea Blanca, Castillo del Romeral and El Tablero. The magic show by the magician Manu will also arrive at those same stages in a Christmas version.
The proposed cultural programming also implies the reestablishment of activities of the municipal library service, such as the storytelling sessions and the children's writing workshop that will take place in El Tablero, Castillo del Romeral, El Pajar, Aldea Blanca, Maspalomas and Juan Big; and the recovery of the youth and adult reading club that is resumed with a view to continuity.
The Maspalomas Cultural Center will be the scene of the educational-musical show by the Maspalomas Sol y Arena Band on the 2nd at 20:00 p.m.; of the 'NavidéAme' meeting of the Municipal Schools of Music and Theater, on the 13th at 19:00 p.m.; also the theatrical performances 'Magic Gift' and 'The Tooth Fairy and the Tooth Fairy' on the 14th and 16th, respectively, at 18:00 p.m.; the dance, music and theater show 'Christmas Tales', by Ballet Maspalomas, on the 20th at 18 p.m.; of the Spanish short film exhibition 'The Shortest Day', on the 21st at 19.00:26 p.m.; of the musical 'The Christmas Circus', on the 18th at 00:28 p.m.; of the IX New Year's Eve Solidarity Lyrical Gala, with soprano Judith Pezoa, on the 20th at 00:100 p.m.; and the 'Disney 29th Dream Concert', as a charity gala, on the 20th at 00:XNUMX p.m.
