“It is a fair that was born to stay and, of course, it would not be possible without the participation of farmers who, even when the volume of the harvest is not the best due to the excessive heat, put all their emphasis on being there,” said Alonso. , who also thanked the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and Cajasiete for their collaboration.
The VIII Avocado Fair will start at 9:00 a.m. and will end around 14:00 p.m., with the participation of more than fifteen farmers in 12 stands that will be distributed in the 1.160 square meters of the permanent tent located in Pérez Galdós square. In the tent there will also be eight stalls selling processed products such as cheeses, jams, Gran Canaria olive oil, fermented fruit and aloe vera and honey preparations.
