A hiker injured after suffering a fall in Mogán

Around 16:50 p.m., the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting that a hiker had fallen in an area of ​​very difficult access and was injured. on the road to Los Azulejos, municipality of Mogán.

 

The GES helicopter located the victim and proceeded to rescue her. Once on the aircraft she took it to the El Berriel Aerodrome. There she was waiting for a basic life support ambulance from the SUC whose personnel attended to her wound. A 58-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of care, presents a moderate trauma to the lower limb, is transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Roca Clinic.

 

 

 

 

1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) with a basic life support ambulance, the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES): a rescue helicopter. The Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium and Mogan Civil Protection also collaborated in the rescue tasks, the Civil Guard and the Local Police collaborated with the emergency services.
