25 Baccalaureate and ESO students offer a sample of the different graphic expression techniques that they have developed with charcoal, Chinese inks, watercolors and colored pencils

The Alpendre Room of the Casa de Saturninita Municipal Art and Exhibition Center, in San Fernando de Maspalomas, hosts from this Tuesday until next January 15 an exhibition of the work developed by the students of the Baccalaureate of Arts groups of the IES Támara.

 

The exhibition, under the title 'Ink & Pencil... and something else', was inaugurated by the second deputy mayor and government official of the municipal area of ​​Culture and Education, Elena Álamo Vega. It is fundamentally focused on the representations of portraits, landscapes and figurations of animals made by students in the 3rd year of ESO and the 1st and 2nd years of the Plastic Arts Baccalaureate.

In the exhibition, where around 25 young people participate, the curricular and teaching activity on the knowledge and use of the different techniques of graphic expression with charcoal works, tonal assessment exercises, false engraving, handling of Indian inks and gouache, can be seen. and also work with colored pencils.

 

This exhibition is part of the permanent work and collaboration plan that the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council maintains with the municipality's educational centers through the Departments of Education and Culture.
