Presentation next Thursday, December 28, starting at 20:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the Maspalomas Cultural Center, to benefit the Rotary Educational Center project in La Palma
The cast made up of soprano Judith Pezoa, tenor Juan A. Sanabria, mezzo-soprano Cristina del Barrio and baritone Fernando Campero, accompanied on piano by Nauzet Mederos, will be in charge of delighting next Thursday, December 28, at 20 p.m. :00 hours, to the audience of the Maspalomas Cultural Center with its now traditional New Year's Eve Lyric Gala, the End of the Year Solidarity Lyric Gala. After the success achieved in previous editions, and with a price of 10 euros per ticket, it will be developed to benefit the Rotary Educational Center project in La Palma.
This show was presented this Monday, December 18, in an event that took place at the Hotel Lopesan Villa del Conde Resort & Thalasso in Meloneras, in which the councilor for Culture of the municipality, Esther Delgado, thanked the artists for their presence. and the collaboration that the Rotary Club Maspalomas has been providing. Both, together with the San Bartolomé de Tirajana City Council, unify efforts in achieving the objective that they have been setting for nine years: unifying culture and entertainment with solidarity.
For his part, Daniel Bazán, president of the Rotary Club Maspalomas, joined in the thanks, directed especially to the City Council and the artists who offer their talent every year for a charitable cause. He clarified that the amount raised in this edition of the Solidarity Lyric Gala will again be allocated entirely to the Rotary Educational Center project in La Palma in its objective of building a school center to replace the unitary schools destroyed by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano in September 2021.
This is the ninth New Year's Eve Solidarity Lyric Gala in Maspalomas, as explained by soprano Judith Pezoa, who was pleased to collaborate with the Rotary Club Maspalomas for one more edition, thanking the Department of Culture for the development of this solidarity activity. At the same time, he positively valued the participation of the great participating artists despite their “busy” schedules. As is traditional, a repertoire consisting of opera arias will be performed, as well as Spanish songs, where there will be no shortage of zarzuelas and songs known to the public, inviting all people to enjoy this great gala that will take place this coming Thursday the 28th. December in Maspalomas.
