The children's and family Christmas programming of the Department of Culture of the City Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana will offer this Thursday the storyteller 'Tribute to Coco' to the children of Aldea Blanca, at 19:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the Neighborhood Association Famara.
The development of this free activity aimed at the cultural leisure of children in the municipality has been raising more and more expectations since it was launched on December 15 at the Pancho Guerra Cultural Center, in Tunte.
Since then, the concert dramatized by Juan Carlos Guerra and performed by actresses Caty Pulido, Laura Perdomo and Noemí Santana, has already passed through the stages of the cultural centers of El Pajar and Juan Grande, on December 21 and 22 respectively. 'Coco', based on an original idea by Lee Unkrich, tells the story of a 12-year-old boy, Miguel Rivera, who is accidentally transported to the land of the dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased great-great-grandfather, a musician, to bring him back to life and return to his family.
The musical and scenic proposal that the UniversoGC Production Company is offering in San Bartolomé de Tirajana is a tribute to the famous soundtrack of the original animated film (Pixar Studios, 2017), interspersing the story of little Miguel with very popular songs of Mexican music and some songs from the film's soundtrack.
The storyteller 'Tributo a Coco', with a very agile format, lasts about 60 minutes, in which the three singing actresses narrate the story interspersing songs well known to children and adults, who become participants and protagonists of the story. show in an entertaining and casual way.
