Promotion of Gran Canaria as a MICE destination

Gran Canaria has had a new opportunity to present some of the attributes that have made the island a great MICE destination by hosting the international event Break The Ice Forum, held between December 14 and 16 at the Seaside Palm Beach Hotel. A meeting aimed at professionals in the sector that has established itself in the European environment as a unique space to show the potential of destinations in this segment. 

 

Gran Canaria Convention Bureau, the official Tourism brand of Gran Canaria that represents the island's MICE sector, collaborated in the design and organization of this successful professional meeting where, in addition to work sessions, team building activities and networking dinners, The participants were able to learn first-hand about the uniqueness of our destination. During their stay on the island they enjoyed excursions and visits in which they were able to get closer to its culture, history and unique nature, accompanied by spring weather in the month of December.

 

 

 

Likewise, within the framework of this event, Gran Canaria Convention Bureau organized a fam trip with a select group of international buyers who traveled to the island from December 16 to 18 to continue showing the attributes of the destination.

 

Break The Ice Forum is a B2B event for the MICE sector, organized in a 2-night, 1-day trip format in which a single group cohesion is proposed. The main objective is to foster close relationships with all participants, becoming a true business opportunity by bringing together the best buyers in this segment, without leaving behind the memorable experiences lived in the host destination.
